Questions of the website pitta patta

Questions of the website "ofsted"
1) What levels do they cover?
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.

2) How are they founded?
The aim of all this work is to promote improvement and value for money in the services we inspect and regulate, so that children and young people, parents and carers, adult learners and employers benefit. They are here to raise standards and improve lives. Whether it’s focusing on issues of national importance through inspection, investigating complaints about care, or working to spread good practice and celebrate outstanding achievement, what drives us is the knowledge that what we do really makes a difference.

3) How can I learn about a provider?

Ofsted has a well-established National Provider Scheme in place for large corporate organisations that provide childcare and/or residential social care for children. There are 65 providers on the scheme. Ofsted works with these providers to monitor the consistency of inspection and regulation (particularly enforcement) across Ofsted. Providers on the scheme give us feedback about all aspects of our work and help us to pilot our new frameworks for inspection and regulation. The scheme gives inspectors a point of contact with a good knowledge and overview of each of the organisations involved in the scheme.
